The Essential Phone has been available since the summer of 2017. Boasting a stunning display, performance, and pure Android; but it also came with a rocky troubling start. Now that the price has dropped, it has become a more appealing prospect for many, including myself.
If you do buy one, you will probably want to consider getting a case. Sadly, manufacturers haven’t exactly rushed to the market with a bevy of great cases to choose from. I’ve been keeping an eye on cases and here are a few options worth checking out.
1. Poetic Guardian
The Poetic Guardian offers full body protection with a polycarbonate back, TPU lining and bumper paired with a front polycarbonate casing with built in screen protector. It offers similar protection as Otterbox products but with less bulk. I really like the superhero looking design.

For the flip wallet lovers. The Feitten Wallet case is a good option and is available in six different colours. The flip cover is made of a soft PU leather. While the phone is cradled with a clear shell inside. It can be folded into a kickstand and the front cover is magnetized. The Feitten Wallet appears to be a rebranded case and can be found under different names.

Incipio’s DualPro has been one of my favourite choices for phone cases. It’s a hybrid case that offers dual layer protection. First by a soft inner core covered by a rigid polycarbonate outer shell. It strikes a good balance between protection and minimum bulk.
Check Price4. Incipio NGP Pure
Don’t want to conceal the beauty of your phone? The clear NGP Pure is a reliable option. It is a soft, and flexible shell case made from a polymer blend. Offering decent protection without adding too much bulk.
Check Price5. TUDIA GLOST
Simple lightweight protective case with a TPU bumper and a thick tempered glass back panel. It feels like an extension of your phone because of how it replicates the sleek ceramic back of the Essential PH-1. Also comes in five colours.
